Usaremos who, which, that y where para dar más información sobre personas, cosas y lugares.

Hablando de personas: Who y That

Cuando quieras hablar de una persona, puedes usar 'who' o 'that'. Estas palabras reemplazan a pronombres como he, she o they. She helps me a lot', puedes decir 'She is a teacher who helps me a lot'. Tanto 'who' como 'that' son correctos para referirse a personas.

I have a friend who speaks four languages.I know a person, and this person speaks four languages.
She is the doctor that cured my cough. She is the specific medical person who made me better.

Hablando de cosas: Which y That

Cuando quieras hablar de objetos, animales o ideas, usas 'which' o 'that'. It is electric', puedes decir 'I bought a car which is electric'.

This is the phone which I bought yesterday. Here is the mobile device I purchased recently.
I love books that have happy endings.I prefer reading stories where everything turns out well.

Hablando de lugares: Where

Por ejemplo, en vez de decir 'This is the restaurant. We ate dinner there', puedes combinarlas: 'This is the restaurant where we ate dinner'.

That is the hotel where we stayed last summer. That building is our vacation accommodation from the past.
Show me the park where you play football.Point out the outdoor area for your sports game.
